Located at 200 Cameron Station Blvd, Second Floor

Cameron Station residents and their guests who are fully vaccinated will no longer be required to wear a mask or face covering at Cameron Station facilities. A person is considered to be fully vaccinated 14 days after receiving the second Pfizer or Moderna shot, or the single Johnson & Johnson shot. All unvaccinated and partially vaccinated people aged five (5) years and older should continue to wear masks and practice physical distancing in accordance with CDC recommendations.

Hours of Operation: 

Monday - Friday:  4:45 am to 11:00 pm

Saturday - Sunday:  7:00 am - 8:00 pm (during pool season 7:00 am - 8:30 pm).

Classes
This is a friendly reminder that our Fitness Center offers a full range of the following free classes to our residents taught by professional instructors: Stretch and Core; Vinyasa Flow Yoga; Yoga; Boot Camp; Gentle Yoga; Total Body Weights; Zumba Tone; and Zumba. Please come out and take advantage of them! The class schedule is listed below.
 

Stretch and Core - Mondays and Wednesdays 10:30 am -11:30 am - Multi-Purpose Court

Vinyasa Flow Yoga - Mondays 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm - Victoria Hebert Great Room          Vinyasa yoga, in which movement is synchronized to the breath, is a term that covers a broad range of yoga classes. This style is sometimes also called flow yoga, because of the smooth way that the poses run together and become like a dance.
The breath acts as an anchor to the movement as you to flow from one pose to the next in time with an inhale or an exhale.

Yoga II - Tuesdays 8:30 am - 9:30 am - Victoria Hebert Great Room
Yoga classes appropriate for those who want a softer, nurturing, slow-paced, well-supported and relaxing practice. The approach includes carefully orchestrated movements, controlled pressure, and well-measured stretches, including range of motion exercises. Postures may be approached in gradual steps, with plenty of time to focus on breathing and repetition so that the practice is simple to do and easy to remember. This yoga style encourages a highly individualized approach to practice with on-going encouragement to make moment-to-moment adjustments.
 
Boot Camp (Complimentary) - Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm - Multi-Purpose Court
 
Pom-Pom Class (Complimentary) - Wednesdays 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm - Multi-Purpose Court
 
Gentle Yoga (Complimentary) - Thursdays 9:00 am - 10:00 am - Victoria Hebert Great Room Gentle yoga classes are typically described as appropriate for those who want a softer, nurturing, slow-paced, well-supported and relaxing practice. Zumba (Complimentary) - Saturdays 9:00 am - 10:00 am - Multi-Purpose Court
It's fun and effective, using interval training combining fast and slow rhythms for an effective aerobic workout while at the same time targeting your legs, abs, glutes and arms. The workout is basically watch and follow. The moves are repeated often enough for you to catch on and they're not complicated. The routines are repeated week after week with additions every now and then to spice things up even more! Zumba combines high energy and motivating music with unique moves and combinations that allow the Zumba participants to dance away their worries. It is based on the principle that a workout should be 'FUN AND EASY TO DO' in order for Zumba participants to stick to the Zumba fitness program to achieve long-term health benefits. Zumba is not only great for the body, but it is also great for the mind. It is a 'feel happy' workout.
